Paris Saint-Germain shared a picture of Korean midfielder Lee Kang-in posing with a Hangul jersey on the club’s Instagram account on Wednesday to celebrate Hangul Day, a national Korean commemorative day marking the invention and proclamation of Hangul, the Korean alphabet.
In the Instagram post, the club stated: “Happy Hangul Day! To celebrate this South Korean holiday, we’ve launched a special printing for our home kit, which is available online at store.psg.fr. For a limited time, every purchase of the Hangul kit will give you a chance to win a kit signed by Lee Kang-in.”
This is not the first time PSG has released Hangul kits. The French club did so in March to commemorate the opening of a new PSG store in Seoul. PSG players even wore the Hangul jerseys during a Ligue 1 match against Reims on March 10.
