The DFB and the German national team held a ceremony to honor four German “legends” ahead of the Germany vs. Netherlands match in the UEFA Nations League.
Bayern Munich’s Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer, along with Manchester City’s İlkay Gündoğan were able to attend the pregame festivities, but Toni Kroos could not. Kroos, who retired from Real Madrid and the German national team last summer, was unable to take part in the ceremony due to a previous commitment (which was believed to be an academy event for his son at Real Madrid).
Below are a series of pics from the event.
