Former Paris Saint-Germain youth academy player Christopher Nkunku recently answered a question about whether the Parisians attempted to pursue him this past summer.
This weekend, Téléfoot released an interview with the Frenchman about whether PSG has shown any interest in bringing the Chelsea standout back to the Parc des Princes.
“A Nkunku-Barcola partnership at PSG? (Laughs!) I don’t know what to say about that. But yes, PSG is still a big club. Any approach this summer? No, no, no. I’ve always said there was no approach.”

« Je suis toujours le PSG, Barcola marque, il est décisif, je lui souhaite de continuer. Oui le PSG ça reste un grand club, mais il n’y a pas eu d’approches, rien du tout.»

Nkunku broke into PSG’s first team in 2015 but left in 2019 to pursue new opportunities, joining RB Leipzig. During his time in Germany, the 26-year-old featured in 172 matches, scoring 70 goals and providing 56 assists.
After five years at Leipzig, Nkunku made the leap to Chelsea, where he’s already made 25 appearances and scored 10 goals. His return would align with PSG’s strategy of bringing in French talent who understand the club’s values and culture.
Football Insider reported on Tuesday, citing sources, that Chelsea are not open to offers for Nkunku. The report mentions that several clubs are monitoring his situation at Chelsea following a challenging start at Stamford Bridge.
However, Chelsea reportedly aren’t considering any offers, as Enzo Maresca sees him as a key player for the future.
