Late in the summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain was linked to Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman. Moreover, there’s new information on this file that could see the Parisians revisit their interest once the January transfer window opens in a few months.
The Parisians’ attack has struggled to score goals in recent matches, which raises the question of whether there is enough depth of players who can put the ball in the back of the net.
In the closing days of the transfer window, Lookman attracted interest from multiple clubs, not just PSG. Arsenal and Liverpool were also keen on the 26-year-old. Since joining Atalanta in 2022, he’s made a significant impact.
Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported on Monday that the Atalanta player is still open to a new challenge, with a potential winter move on the horizon.
Atalanta president Percassi blocked a transfer for the 26-year-old versatile striker this past summer. However, a move in the next window could be possible, with a price tag set at €25-30 million as his current contract runs until 2026.
