Bayern Munich is working on a short week as players return from international duty. A massive matchup with VfB Stuttgart looms and it looks like — as of now — the Bavarians are starting to get some of their injured players in good shape to play this weekend.
Let’s check in on where things stand…
Upamecano continues his rehab
After sustaining an injury during Bayern Munich’s 3-3 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt, Dayot Upamecano is continuing his work on the ball in hopes of being ready to face Die Schwaben:

Dayot Upamecano completed his second individual session with the ball today. Vincent Kompany is hopeful Upamecano will be fit in time against Stuttgart. But for that to happen, everything has to go perfectly in the training sessions over the next few days.
Musiala back in the mix
Jamal Musiala was battling a hip ailment, which kept him away from the German national team, but does appear as if he has made enough progress to train properly:

Jamal was outside with physio Knut Stamer for a good 15 minutes and completed his first runs with a clear focus on the increasing strain on his hip.
