At the end of the international break, uncertainty remains for Randal Kolo Muani at Paris Saint-Germain.
Kolo Muani has had a complicated journey at Paris Saint-Germain since his arrival last summer from Eintracht Frankfurt. Little used by his coach Luis Enrique, the French striker (2 goals in 9 matches, including only 2 starts with PSG this season) can however count on the French team to regain a little confidence, as evidenced by his recent double against Belgium (0-2) on October 14 in the Nations League.
Despite his fine copy, the former member of FC Nantes has not yet gained any credit with the Parisian coach, judging by the Asturian’s comments at a press conference this Friday, on the eve of the reception of Strasbourg for the 8th day of Ligue 1.
If he was satisfied with the performances of his players, including Kolo Muani, during the October break, Luis Enrique gave no clue about a possible change in the Bondynois’ playing time. Indeed, the 2022 world vice-champion has only played 366 minutes since August.
“It’s good news that international players are having good results, playing good matches, scoring goals. If they play well in their national team, it’s better for teams like mine,” commented the former FC Barcelona manager.
