Over the last few days, Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani has been the subject of transfer rumors. The Frenchman has failed to establish himself under manager Luis Enrique but thrives under manager French national team boss Didier Deschamps.
Kolo Muani has been with PSG for over a year but has only managed 11 goals and six assists during that period. It also seems that Enrique’s faith in him may have faded, causing these rumors to surface.
A few days ago, a report surfaced that Manchester United are monitoring Kolo Muani’s situation closely and are prepared to make a €70 million offer to bring him to Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, a report this week from TBR Football reports that Kolo Muani has been offered to several Premier League clubs ahead of the January transfer window.
Amid the rumors, CBS Sports’ Jonathan Johnson shared his thoughts on the Frenchman being linked to Arsenal and Manchester United. He discussed whether a January transfer move is feasible for the Frenchman.
“I do think that there’s more for Kolo Muani to potentially be able to offer PSG if he’s allowed to by the style of play that Luis Enrique is trying to implement,” Johnson said on the latest PSG Talking podcast.
“But also there is a very good player there to essentially be unlocked, possibly by another team. I think I have a difficult time imagining him possibly moving in the winter. And if there was a winter move, I think it would be an initial loan, potentially with an option or an obligation to buy.”
