Versatile Bayern Munich defender Josip Stanišić is finally back on the pitch as he took part in a running workout on Monday.
This was the Croatian’s first public action since tear a knee ligament in August. FCBayern.com provided the details:
Josip Stanišić completed his first running session on Monday since he tore his collateral ligament in his right knee. The Bayern defender completed individual laps of the pitch at Säbener Straße. The 24-year-old suffered his injury in training shortly before the start of the Bundesliga season in August.
Stanišić’s versatility has been missed on the backline. German outlet kicker is reporting that the 24-year-old will not be back until late November.
