River Plate’s Franco Mastantuono has attracted interest from several top European clubs. However, the 17-year-old opted not to make a move this past summer despite the buzz surrounding him.
The Argentine side seem firm on their asking price for the highly sought-after teenager, Mastantuono. With his contract running until 2026, there’s no immediate pressure to sell unless a club meets its valuation.
Mastantuono has made 34 appearances across all competitions for the Argentine club, contributing four goals and two assists.
Argentinian journalist Renzo Pantich recently reported that PSG have made Mastantuono their top target and is prepared to activate his release clause from River Plate. The clause is currently set at €40 million, but it could increase to €45 million in the final ten days of each transfer window.
Despite the aggressive approach from the Ligue 1 side, Diario AS’ Eduardo Burgos reports that Manchester United are among the clubs following Mastantuono.

Nonetheless, there’s competition for the Argentine teenager as Barcelona, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all reportedly keen on the player.
