Troy Deeney, a player who last season played for Forest Green Rovers and played 419 games and scored 140 goals for Watford, has confessed that he spent more than 300,000 euros from a bonus on three days of partying in Las Vegas.
The Birmingham-born striker, who captained Watford and played a part in the 2015 and 2021 promotions, explained the details of his days out on the podcast ‘Undr the Cosh’.
Troy Deeney admitted that he went to Las Vegas to celebrate Watford‘s promotion in 2015 to fulfill a promise.
“I spent over 300,000 in three days in Vegas. I’d love to tell you I lost them gambling, but I didn’t…,” he confessed.

The 36-year-old former footballer gave an overview of how he spent the money on parties in Las Vegas: “96,000 on a pool party, 96,000 at the MGM in the morning and 72,000 at night.”
Troy Deeney revealed more details about his three days of partying in Las Vegas, such as that “there were five soccer players at the time having a bachelor party and they were at the next table” and that “they took us to a bachelorette party of 15 Canadians” who were Victoria’s Secret models.
“One of the girls told me they were Victoria’s Secret models and I thought “thank you Jesus, I’m in heaven now.”…. I didn’t even do anything, I drank so much they took me in a cab,” she recalls.

Troy Deeney, who throughout his career played for Chelmsley Town, Walsall, Watford, Birmingham City and Forest Green Rovers, admitted that “it was all ego, I was a twat at the highest level and now I could do with that 300,000.”
