Last month, Le Parisien reported that the LFP’s legal committee had decided Paris Saint-Germain needed to pay Kylian Mbappé €55 million in unpaid salaries and bonuses.
This development followed news that the commission had encouraged both parties to seek mediation to resolve the issue without further legal escalation.
However, in a statement sent to AFP, Mbappé’s entourage announced their rejection of the mediation proposed by the LFP regarding the financial dispute with PSG.
While the player had won this round, AFP reported that PSG decided not to pay Mbappé the €55 million in unpaid salary and bonuses.

It will be interesting to see if the Parisians decide to pay their all-time leading goal scorer what he’s owed, per the LFP commission ruling. The club probably feels it will be necessary to sue to recover the funds.
Moreover, former PSG player Jérôme Rothen stated last month that the capital club won’t pay the player.
“What is certain is that PSG is not going to pay,” Rothen said on Rothen s’enflamme (h/t Le10Sport). “That’s a certainty.”
