One hour until kickoff: We have lineups! Jamal Musiala is back in the starting XI, and so is Kingsley Coman! Konrad Laimer comes in for Rapha Guerreiro. Otherwise, the rest of the Bayern Munich XI remains unchanged.
After the crushing disappointment of losing to FC Barcelona in the Champions League, Bayern Munich return to action on the road against VfL Bochum.
It used to be that, after a major loss/draw, this team could bounce back and hammer whichever opponent came up next. That kind of mentality has been missing in the last few years, particularly since Hansi Flick left. Now that Vincent Kompany has well and truly been humbled for the first time since he took this job, he’s going to have to prove that he’s still the right man to take this team forward. That starts with this game vs Bochum.
It’s Bayern time.
