According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich’s midweek DFB-Pokal match against Mainz 05 might be a little less of a challenge than previous anticipated.

Bayern Munich picked up a 5-0 win over VfL Bochum on Sunday, but the squad has been up-and-down of late working under coach Vincent Kompany. What the team needs most is a chance to build up some on-field chemistry and an opportunity to establish some momentum.
