Last summer transfer window, Manchester United pushed to land midfielder Manuel Ugarte, and now, in 2025, the Red Devils could be going for another Paris Saint-Germain player.
The Red Devils have a new manager in Ruben Amorim, and it won’t be a surprise if he pursues Portuguese players who fit his vision of football. As a result, rumors will emerge in the coming weeks and months.
PSG have two quality full-backs in Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes, with the Moroccan already extending his contract. Nonetheless, could Mendes be out on the way out?
Manchester United have eyes on Nuno Mendes
Simon Jones of Mail Sport reports that Manchester United are keeping an eye on Mendes, who is under contract until 2026 and Transfermarkt also puts the player’s transfer value at €55 million.

This season, Mendes has played 10 total matches across all competitions while recording one goal and registering two assists.
PSG are reportedly interested in AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez, who is having a challenge extending his contract with the Serie A side. As a result, if the Parisians decide to go after the other Hernandez brother, could that make Mendes expendable?
