Once upon a time, Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry was one of the bright spots for the future of the club. While he never quite hit the heights envisioned for him on a prolonged basis, especially due to injury, he has grown into a mature and responsible young player.
Serge Gnabry recently spoke about his personal development as he reaches closer to 30 per @iMiaSanMia: “I would say I’ve reached the stage of adulthood, the stage of reason. In every respect. And that feels good. Of course, the youthful enthusiasm of the past was also great. But everything in its own time. I’ll be 30 next year, which always sounds like footballers have to start thinking about the time after that. But I definitely don’t feel like that yet – not even like I’m 29 [smiles].”
Serge Gnabry has started this season well and has seemingly gained the favor of his coach, Vincent Kompany. He has also returned to the Germany national team squad. Things are indeed looking on the up for the Bayern Munich winger.
