As earlier said and clearly close, Ruud van Nistelrooy is believed to become the next Leicester manager inside the next 48 hours. According to several media sources we do believe that the match is there and that other candidates are far from the table.
Ruud van Nistelrooy joined Man Utd in the summer to be part of the coaching staff under Erik ten Hag, and when the latter was dismissed, the former Real Madrid and MU striker took interim charge.
Leicester looks to have few or no other options at this point under consideration and hopes to land their first and favourite candidate for the job as it looks a settled decision from the clubs side.
We do believe that Leicester decision is made with an eye on their former recruitment of Enzo Maresca, looking for a manager of a younger age, a person with a good playing background and also having the work as an assistant as part of his total. The fact that we will see a very clear and special indetity in the form of offensive play is also part of this decision making.
🚨 Leicester City have opened talks with Ruud Van Nistelrooy to succeed Steve Cooper as manager.

Enzo Maresca had one brief spell in charge of Parma in Serie B, before taking the job at Leicester. Ruud van Nistelrooy comes with a similiar background being in charge at PSV Eindhoven for a short time as well as getting that late experience of being an interim manager at MU.
We know of course that the former Dutch international was in the frame over the summer, but with Man Utd flirting with him, easy to understand his decision in joining his former club.
When this announcement is made, we do have the concrete and full answer, but we do believe that Ruud van Nistelrooy will bring with him a bag of content that can benefit the club and drive this project in the correct direction, hopefully starting a bit of squad freshening in January.
