Tottenham keen on Sudakov’s signing in 2025
Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer plans for 2025 as gradually shaping up and as per TBR Football, a midfielder’s signing could be on their list of agendas with the club having recently scouted Shakhtar Donetsk star Heorhiy Sudakov in the recently concluded Europa League matchday in the Ukrainian side’s fixture with PSV Eindhoven.
Sudakov has been one of the most impressive midfielders in the continental competition and although the outing against PSV was not his best showing, the player has attracted heavy interest from the Premier League. Manchester City and Liverpool are also said to be keen on his transfer, with both clubs having enquired about his services over the recent past.
Liverpool’s scouts were also present at last week’s match between Shakhtar Donetsk and PSV Eindhoven, and the Reds are also among the sides expected to prioritise a swoop for a midfielder in 2025. Their primary target is expected to be Real Sociedad man Martin Zubimendi, although competition for the Spaniard could intensify with Manchester City and Real Madrid also keen.
Tottenham, as with any other interested party in Sudakov, will be expected to dish out £50 million to get his transfer over the line. There is enough demand for the player’s services for Shakhtar Donetsk to stand firm on their demands and given his qualities, it is fair to say that it seems like a fair price tag for the midfielder who has a number of years under his belt.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are prepared to invest in him next year, however, as defenders and attackers could be their priority over midfielders. Ange Postecoglou has six or seven fine players at his disposal, all of whom are having chances in the first team, so the Australian might not necessarily want to make more additions in his engine room.
