Finally.
After months of speculation and a lot of ups-and-downs, Bayern Munich and Joshua Kimmich have agreed on a contract extension that will keep the versatile midfielder in Bavaria through the end of the 2028/29 season.
For both sides, it was clearly a relief to get the deal done and keep Kimmich, who is rumored to be Bayern Munich’s next captain Kimmich will be kept in tow to help the transition from the old guard to the next generation of players.
Kimmich has been linked to several clubs over the past year, but nothing serious seemed to develop for the 30-year-old. Now, the transfer saga has been put to rest (unlike those plants Kimmich is working with in the video).
