Guido Rodriguez has proven to be a terrible signing for West Ham United, and we’ve hardly seen him in action since Graham Potter took over.
West Ham brought Guido Rodriguez to the London Stadium on a free transfer in the summer.
However, Guido Rodriguez could now leave West Ham, with four clubs keen to sign him during the off-season.
The 30-year-old Argentina international has been nowhere near the levels required to succeed in the Premier League.
He just doesn’t possess the attributes needed to flourish at the top level of the English game.
However, there have been numerous contradictory claims going around regarding Rodriguez’s future at the London Stadium.
Major Guido Rodriguez twist emerges
Since Potter took over as manager of West Ham, Rodriguez has been given just 128 minutes of action in the Premier League.
It is clear to see that he doesn’t have the physicality, nor the athleticism to play in the middle of the park for the Hammers.
It has come to light that West Ham are doing everything in their power to sell the midfielder this summer (Estadio Deportivo).
And it has been suggested that the Hammers owners are absolutely desperate to get the 30-year-old’s salary off the books.

Moving him on this summer should be a key priority for Potter, if he really wants to take us to another level.
Nonsensical contradictory claim suggests Graham Potter U-turn
So, it wasn’t long ago when it was claimed that Rodriguez may well still have a future at the London Stadium.
Back in January, a report claimed that Graham Potter actually wanted to keep Guido Rodriguez at West Ham.
TyC Sports journalist Juan Cortese told MDZ that Potter views the former Real Betis man as a key player for the Hammers.
That just seems nonsensical to me. If Potter really believes that Guido Rodriguez is a key player for West Ham, then he would have played him more than he has.
Also, I’d be hugely concerned if that really was the Hammers head coach’s view.
That said, the latest report seems to suggest that Potter has made a huge U-turn anyway.
I fully expect Rodriguez to leave the club this summer.
