Bayern Munich has started working on the summer transfer after retaining the Bundesliga title last weekend. The record Bundesliga champions have several areas to address in the window, but none more important than the striker position. After the general annual meeting, it does look like Bayern has a new number one target for the number nine role.
Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is back on the table for Die Roten after the departure of Hasan Salihamidzic. Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani is also subject to interest from Rekordmeister, but it does look like the Bavarian club has started working on a deal to sign Vlalhovic.
According to Goal Italia, early talks have taken place between Die Roten and Juventus in the last few weeks. There is a significant difference in the valuation of the player from both clubs, but Thomas Tuchel is pushing Die Roten to get the Serbian striker to Allianz Arena.
Manchester United and Chelsea are following the situation of Vlahovic at Juventus since both English clubs will sign a number nine this summer. However, Goal Italia is reporting that Bayern’s interest is the strongest in the Serbian striker.
Juventus will look to get back €80 million that they paid for Vlahovic at the start of 2022. Die Roten may look to negotiate this fee down and get him for €60-70 million. Both clubs have a good relationship in the market as they have worked on several deals in the recent past. Matthijs de Ligt was the last transfer between these two clubs. The Dutch defender left Juventus to join Die Roten in the last summer transfer window.
The Serbian striker should be open to joining Bayern after his struggles at Juventus this season. He will also get the chance of playing in the Champions League. Juventus will be playing in the Europa Conference league next season.
Vlahovic endured a difficult season in Turin, but he has all the tools of a killer striker that can thrive in the right system. Considering the chances Die Roten creates every game, Vlahovic can surely get back to his best next season. The next few weeks will be decisive for this transfer as Bayern will look to wrap it up as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Harry Kane is unlikely to arrive in Bavaria. The English striker has been heavily linked with Die Roten since the start of the season, but he will be playing in the Premier League next season, reports SportBild. It does look like a two-horse race between Vlahovic and Kolo Muani to become Die Roten’s next number nine.
