Isak Hansen-Aarøen will not go away with his country this summer, instead, he’s set for his Man United opportunity.
This summer is vital for Manchester United Football Club. Erik ten Hag has a vision, with the squad now slowly moulding into one that fits that image.
The Old Trafford club begin pre-season soon enough, with Ten Hag set to get another look at the next generation. Last summer, it was Zidane Iqbal and Charlie Savage who flourished. This time around, others will look to follow suit.
One player who Ten Hag is preparing to give an opportunity to is Isak Hansen-Aarøen.
The young man was apart of the FA Youth Cup winning squad, along with Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and others.
It’s reputable journalist Fredrik N Filltvedt with the information. He shared that on the Scandinavian Supporters Club website.
Apparently, Ten Hag and United have told Norway that Hansen-Aarøen will not be joining their squad for the U19s European Championship next month. Instead, it’s ‘on the cards’ that the 18-year-old starlet is set for his pre-season chance.
Hansen-Aarøen was a part of the travelling party for the FA Cup final earlier this month, with Ten Hag keen to integrate the Norwegian into the first-team fold.
Now, after impressing in first-team training, Hansen-Aarøen is likely to be given that opportunity over the summer.
An attacking midfielder by trade, Hansen-Aarøen has an excellent work rate, two great feet and a real eye for goal. He’s built in a similar mould to Bruno Fernandes, while this summer, Hansen-Aarøen has an excellent opportunity to learn from the ex-Sporting Lisbon man.
Hopefully, the young man is given plenty of on-field minutes as I’m eager to see what he can do.
