Marcus Rashford has committed his future to Man United, putting pen to paper on a new long-term deal.
Manchester United have been locked in contract talks with Marcus Rashford for what feels like the best part of a year.
The Old Trafford club have been understandably desperate to tie their star man down to new terms, particularly as his current deal was running short. We covered the latest claim on that front just earlier today.
Well, the news we’ve all been waiting for is now in. United themselves have confirmed that Rashford has signed a new deal at the club, keeping him in Manchester until 2028.
The homegrown hero was all-smiles as he put pen on paper, signing a deal that’ll take him into his thirties. After this, Rashy probably has one more big contract left in him.

It always felt like Rashford was leaning towards staying in Manchester, though there was always that small piece of doubt. After all, United haven’t won many major honours since he broke into the side. He’s no doubt chomping at the bit to win the biggest trophies within the game.
Let’s hope Erik ten Hag can continue getting the right tune out of all his players, including Marcus, as the Red Devils look to push Manchester City and Arsenal all the way this coming season.
The Englishman enjoyed his best campaign as a professional last term, scoring 30 goals across all competitions, while often looking like United’s biggest threat. I’d like to think he’ll only improve with some more help in and around him. A top tier striker could also ease the load on the number ten in 2023/24.
Congratulations, Marcus!
