Manchester United kick-off the Premier League campaign with an 8pm match against Wolves this evening. Having sacked their manager, Julen Lopetegui, last week and replaced him with Gary O’Neil, Erik ten Hag won’t be entirely sure what to expect from the opposition. Last season was O’Neil’s first as a manager, first taking the Bournemouth job on an interim basis, before being made the permanent manager, then replaced at the end of the season.
Andre Onana and Mason Mount will make their debuts for the club having signed during the summer but we will have to wait a while longer to see Rasmus Hojlund in action. Especially due to our new striker being unavailable, Marcus Rashford will be looking to start the season with a goal with the aim of bettering his tally of 30 goals in all competitions last season.
Onana, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro, Fernandes, Antony, Mount, Garnacho, Rashford.
Wolves XI: Jose Sa; Nelson Semedo, Kilman, Dawson, Ait-Nouri; Nunes, Joao Gomes, Lemina; Pedro Neto, Sarabia, Matheus Cunha.
