Our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League home game vs Crystal Palace is now in…
Manchester United have strung back-to-back wins together over the last five days, as Erik ten Hag’s side look to find some positive momentum following a poor start to the campaign.
The Old Trafford side take on Crystal Palace again on Saturday, after the sides met in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
Ten Hag will look to make changes here, with some senior faces set to return to the line-up. The same can be said for Roy Hodson’s Palace team, who’ll also be much stronger for this encounter.
Hopefully, the confidence is now flowing again after a couple of important victories, while the players who were rested on Tuesday will be feeling fresh. Anyway, let’s get right into the all-important team news for this one.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI for the Crystal Palace game in full here:
Andre Onana obviously starts in between the sticks, with the man from Cameroon looking good so far this season.
Diogo Dalot is the only fit right-back so this one was an easy selection. Raphael Varane is back available, so he’ll partner Victor Lindelof at the heart of defence as we await for Lisandro Martinez’s return. Sergio Reguilon missed the midweek game with illness, though I believe he’ll put himself through the pain barrier again if necessary.
Casemiro was outstanding in midweek. He definitely looked back to his best and with Sofyan Amrabat back in midfield next to him, this area of the field should look as solid as ever this coming Saturday. Bruno Fernandes comes back into the line-up.
Rasmus Hojlund leads the line for the Old Trafford side, seeking his first Premier League goal. Marcus Rashford will start in the left-wing position, with Facundo Pellistri set to continue over on the right-hand side.
