Our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League home game vs Brentford is now in.
Manchester United Football Club are in a real slump right now. The Red Devils look to be up against it in the Champions League, while a top four Premier League finish is already looking like a challenge.
For Erik ten Hag and the Old Trafford side, it’s about trying to find some positive momentum and putting some sort of winning streak together. That’s the beauty of football. There’s always another game on the horizon.
Brentford visit the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday afternoon and make no mistake about it, they’ll be looking to pile the misery on Ten Hag and United. With that in mind, the Reds will have to be at their absolute best against a very capable side.
Anyway, after much deliberation, our starting line-up for the upcoming game is now in – and it has a pretty familiar look to it.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Brentford in full here:
Andre Onana will start in between the sticks as per usual, with the gaffer looking to keep the faith in the man from Cameroon despite his recent errors.
Diogo Dalot plays at right-back, with Sofyan Amrabat continuing at left-back in the wake of mass injuries in that area of the pitch. Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane is the first choice centre-back pairing right now. They will continue.
Casemiro has blown hot and cold this term so let’s hope he’s set to put in a good display here. Mason Mount will bring the energy and tenacity, while Bruno Fernandes adds genuine on-ball quality.
Rasmus Hojlund starts after his brace in the Champions League on Tuesday. No doubt he’s brimming with confidence. To his right and left respectively is Antony and Marcus Rashford. Probably our best front three available.
