Bruno Fernandes is being targeted by Saudi Pro League sides ahead of the summer transfer window.
The footballing landscape is constantly changing. The Premier League remains the big-money destination in European football, though Saudi Arabia are now making massive moves.
From buying Newcastle United, to luring some of the best footballers on the planet to their Saudi Pro League, it’s clear their intentions are to compete with the very best.
So far, United have managed to escape the Saudi Pro League clubs from trying to lure their players in. Until now…
It’s journalist Rudy Galetti with the information. He took to Twitter yesterday to share his latest, with Bruno Fernandes being eyed.
According to Galetti’s information, the ‘entourage’ of the key United star are set to ‘meet’ with Saudi representatives over a potential summer transfer. The PIF is already taking some ‘concrete steps’ to lure more players to their league, with Bruno now a target.

When I first saw the story, I assumed it’d be someone like Raphael Varane or Casemiro. Both of whom have won major trophies galore in their career, while they’re on the wind-down. However, Saudi are looking to bring in players who are at the peak of their powers, hence, the interest in Bruno.
The question is, will Bruno actually leave? It’s a tough dilemma for the man from Portugal. He’s United club captain so I’d hope he’ll stay loyal and look to compete in the toughest league in the world rather than chasing the money. However, it’s his job at the end of the day and we could not hold it against him if he wants to go.
