Our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League away game vs Newcastle United is now in.
Manchester United Football Club have been playing better of late, with the Red Devils now looking to continue those levels of performances with a game against an in-form Newcastle United.
We’ve struggled against The Magpies in recent times, particularly at their ground. Erik ten Hag’s squad now have an opportunity to rectify those displays, by showing that they truly are a side worthy of competing with the best.
Games have been coming thick and fast of late, with changes being made to the side somewhat regularly. However, this is a game where United have to put out their best side and go all out for three points, in order to close the gap on Newcastle – and potentially the other sides above them.
Anyway, our predicted line-up is now in, with our side looking pretty strong for this one…
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Newcastle United in full here:
Andre Onana does start in between the sticks. He wasn’t great in midweek, but the gaffer will keep the faith in the man from Cameroon here.
Luke Shaw’s return has been a welcome one and he will play. Aaron Wan-Bissaka will start in the right-back slot after his good form. The now customary back two of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof will start at the heart of defence as per usual.
Kobbie Mainoo has been electric since making his first-team breakthrough last week. He simply has to play as he brings some balance and genuine quality to our midfield. Scott McTominay starts as he’s one of the only other fit midfielder’s in the squad, with Bruno Fernandes completing the trio.
Rasmus Hojlund leads the line after making his injury return in midweek. To his left is Alejandro Garnacho, with Marcus Rashford switching over to the right-hand side. He should be feeling fresh after his European ban in midweek.
