Our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League home game vs Chelsea is now in.
Manchester United Football Club have been very hit and miss this season. The Old Trafford side haven’t been helped by injuries and off-field issues, though the overriding feeling around the Red Devils right now is one of disappointment.
Erik ten Hag’s side see the games coming thick and fast at this hectic stage of the season, with very little time to overthink things – but plenty of opportunity to put things right.
Next up is a game against fellow strugglers Chelsea. The Stamford Bridge club aren’t in a good place right now either.
In front of the home crowd, I would have United as favourites here, though Ten Hag does have some decisions to make. I do reckon we will see Marcus Rashford dropped from the line-up after some pretty dodgy displays of late. Anyway, let’s give you the full rundown.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Chelsea in full here:
Andre Onana will start in between the sticks here, with the man from Cameroon looking to continue after a decent display at the weekend.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the best right-back at the club, albeit not the right stylistic fit. He will play here. Luke Shaw gets the nod in the left-back position as per usual. Victor Lindelof comes back into the side at the heart of defence alongside an in-form Harry Maguire.
Kobbie Mainoo simply has to play. There is no other option right now. Scott McTominay adds some goals and experience to the team, with Bruno Fernandes completing the midfield trio.
Rasmus Hojlund will absolutely come back into the team after an Anthony Martial disasterclass over the weekend. Antony will play at right-back, with Alejandro Garnacho completing the line-up.
