Here are our player ratings as Man United were battered 3-0 by Bournemouth.
Andre Onana – Couldn’t do anything about the goals. Did decently enough with the ball at feet. 5/10
Diogo Dalot – Dalot being good in the final third is a myth. Will always give up chances. Poor decision-making. 3/10
Harry Maguire – Had a monster of a first 45 minutes. Was just as ordinary as the rest of his teammates in the second half. 5/10
Luke Shaw – Outmuscled for the Bournemouth second. Didn’t really get on the ball in an attacking sense. 4/10
Sergio Reguilon – Looked lively and hungry enough. The quality just isn’t there, though. 3/10
Sofyan Amrabat – Operated alone for large stretches of the game. Wasn’t good enough for the opener. Kept it simple with the ball at feet. 4/10
Scott McTominay – I know he scores goals, but that’s about it. It’s like playing a man down for large stretches. 3/10
Bruno Fernandes – Not good enough in possession today. Will always work hard. Went down far too easily on numerous occasions. Booked. Misses Liverpool away. 4/10
Antony – Hit and miss. He’s still just far too one-footed for my liking. Didn’t get into any threatening positions. 3/10
Alejandro Garnacho – United’s brightest spark but even he was nullified fairly easily at times. 5/10
Anthony Martial – Just awful. Doesn’t move anywhere near enough. Wasn’t in any good positions at all. 2/10
Subs:
Rasmus Hojlund – Looked like more of a presence up top. Booked for petulance.
Marcus Rashford – Worked hard.
Facundo Pellistri – Didn’t get into it.
Jonny Evans – Wasn’t involved.
