Bayern Munich’s desire to refresh the winger position is rather evident. Aside from Michael Olise, who arrived in the past summer, all of Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sané have been linked countless times with moves away from the club. But if one is to sell players, they need to be replaced, meaning Bayern have a shortlist of replacements. One of those candidates may be a winger from Swedish club Hammarby IF, if Florian Plettenberg, via @iMiaSanMia_GER, is to be believed:
Bayern has Bazoumana Touré (18) from Hammarby on their list. However, internal sources say that the left winger is not ready for Bayern yet.
Touré only just joined Hammarby in the spring of 2024 from Ivorian club ASEC Abidjan. Despite starting on the bench initially, he quickly worked his way into the lineup and impressed with his amazing physicality and searing pace. Still, a jump to Bayern would be a big one. Perhaps Bayern is right and the Ivorian is not ready…yet.
