Conor Gallagher has just spoken to Sky Sports in an interview ahead of the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool where he insisted all he wants is to stay at Chelsea, despite the contract stalemate.
“I just want to keep playing as much as I can for Chelsea.”
His aim is to help the club succeed, and to be part of that. “That’s the plan for sure,” he told Patrick Davidson.
We really just want this deal to get done. Another year is passing where we’re spending the whole season worrying about regular starting players leaving on free transfers.
