Chelsea and Liverpool have played out an exciting first half at Wembley, which saw the teams trade periods of dominance.
There were chances both ways, and Chelsea even had the ball in the net, only to see the goal ruled out for offside. It was a tight one, but Nicolas Jackson’s run did go slightly beyond the defence.
Despite not counting on the scoreline, it certainly have Chelsea a big boost, and they looked more confident after that.
Before that, the Blues had drawn a great save out of the Liverpool keeper with a difficult to spell first name. That was another moment where we could have opened the scoring, only to be denied.
