A midweek away game against bogey team Brentford was the exact opposite of what the doctor ordered for Chelsea after a demoralising defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final and a draining game against Leeds. But the season rolls on, and there’s nothing complaining will do to help.
In the end it was another painful game. A defeat against Brentford was narrowly avoided thanks to a late equaliser from Axel Disasi, but it wasn’t the kind of late goal you could celebrate much.
