Cole Palmer has revealed he is “loving life” at Chelsea.
Palmer swapped Manchester for London last summer and has been a revelation for the Blues so far.
The 21 year old has scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 33 appearances across all competitions for the Stamford Bridge outfit this season.
The former Manchester City man also made his debut for the England senior team at Wembley in a 2-0 win against Malta last November.
The England international has established himself as a key player for Mauricio Pochettino’s side in what is his first season of regular football in his career.
Speaking to the club’s official website on his time at Chelsea so far Palmer said he was loving it and also had praise for Pochettino:
“‘He’s given me the freedom to play my stuff and I like it when he frees you because I feel I can express myself on the pitch more.”
“I’m loving it. Every day he’s talking to you about different things, not just football things but just life generally as well. He’s great at making you feel good and he’s always trying to get the best out of you.”
Palmer will be hoping to add to his goal tally on Monday night as Chelsea face a crucial game against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge as they try and close the gap on the European places.
