Chelsea’s hierarchy are said to be split over signing one particular striker target this summer and also, the valuation of said striker will need to be lowered if they are to even enter talks.

Ivan Toney has interest from a number of top clubs looking for new strikers in the summer, and one of them is Chelsea.
But their is concerns over his age from those at the top of the club, according to The Daily Mirror.
They are reportedly split on the 27-year-old as they would prefer to sign a younger centre-forward with higher potential.
When it comes to Toney, Mirror sources suggest Brentford will now have to soften their stance over a fee to get top clubs talking with £60m deemed a more realistic transfer valuation.
