Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane personally had an excellent season but was dogged by injury problems at the worst possible time — he had to be substituted against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League in the semifinal when Bayern were 0-1 up at the Santiago Bernabéu. The rest is history of course. Nonetheless, Kane expects to be ready for EURO 2024.
From Daily Telegraph correspondent Matt Law, via @iMiaSanMia:
Harry Kane is confident that he will be fully fit and in the best possible shape for England’s European Championship campaign, despite missing Bayern’s penultimate game of the season through injury. It is not yet known whether Kane will be fit to face Hoffenheim in the final game of the Bundesliga campaign on Saturday. But, regardless of his involvement against Hoffenheim, sources close to Kane insist his injury lay-off is largely precautionary and that he will “100 percent” be fit for Euro 2024, assuming he does not suffer any fresh injuries.
Kane went on to miss Bayern’s last game against Hoffenheim and is now perhaps getting ready for the EUROs. Will fans be able to see a fully fit Harry Kane in action in Germany this summer?
