Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is a target for another Premier League club, according to reports.
The 20 year-old has impressed since joining the Eagles from Blackburn for £22.5million in January.
His rise over the past six months has seen him get called up to England’s 26-man squad for the upcoming European Championships.
Wharton’s performances have not gone unnoticed within the top flight and Manchester City have identified him as a long-term target, according to the Evening Standard.
The reports states that the Premier League champions will not make a move for Wharton this summer but they view him as a potential future signing.

‘I like what he’s done with us in the first few days. He sees pictures early and can play forward. It is very early for him but lovely that he looked as comfortable as he did.

‘It’s a big step up from where he was at the beginning of the season but I like the fact he sees pictures early, he plays forward.
