Joe Rodon has been mentioned as a possible new addition, but we believe this would be a strange signing if it happens.
Jamnik Vestergaard has in recent internationals been up against Erling Haaland, Alexander Isak and Harry Kane, as well as Jude Bellingham, coming out of these games with two wins and a draw. Keane was even taken off, Vestergaard staying on and helping Denmark to a 1-1 draw.
Steve Cooper must be willing to test the quality of Jannik Vestegaard, Conor Coady, Wout Faes and Ben Nelson, as well as having Lewis Brunt as a fifth alternative.
To add Joe Rodon to the group a solid group of central defenders looks odd. Rodon himself is looking for regular first team football himself and if he joins Leicester that would be difficult.
Rodon joined Spurs from Swansea, in a five year deal, back in October 2020 for a fee of £11million. He has since played on loan at Rennes and Leeds, with just a håndfull of games for Spurs. To splash out a major fee on this player looks strange, taking into the picture that Leicester do need strengthening in other areas.
