The EURO 2024 knockouts continue with two more Round of 16 matchups today. Join us below and discuss as we watch along!
- England vs. Slovakia (12PM EDT)
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane’s hunt for a trophy this summer runs through Slovakia. The star-studded Three Lions have looked anything but dangerous. It is time to roar or fade away. Can Gareth Southgate find the solutions, amid speculation about his future in the England seat?
- Spain vs. Georgia (3PM EDT)
This matchup has big implications for Germany (@editor CHECK: OR DENMARK???), who take on the winner in the quarterfinals. Spain have dazzled so far and look like a team that could go all the way.
But how about this Georgia team. Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is one of the bona fide magicians of the tournament, one-time Bayern-linked Giorgi Mamardashvili is one of the world’s top young keepers, and Georges Mikautadze was the tournament’s leading scorer coming out of the group stages. Don’t count them out.
