Is there any end to this boy’s talent?
When the word versatile is mentioned, West Ham youngster Ollie Scarles immediately springs to mind.
The Hammers teenager has already played in central midfield for the youth team this season, as well as his normal left-back position.
The 18-year-old is very highly-rated indeed at the London Stadium, and Julen Lopetegui clearly thinks a lot of him, having included him in first-team training sessions on numerous occasions already.
During one of those training sessions, Scarles got the Hammers fans really excited when a video emerged of him matching Aaron Wan-Bissaka for pace.
The future really is very bright for West Ham with the likes of Scarles at the club.
And last night, he demonstrated that he has yet another string to his bow that hardly anybody knew he had.
You will not believe the position Ollie Scarles played in for West Ham under-21s against Newcastle

There were a lot of things to love about the youngsters’ win last night, but one thing really surprised me.
And that was seeing Ollie Scarles start as a striker in Robson’s 4-4-2 system.
The talented teenager put in an energetic, dynamic and athletic performance, and proved once again that he is comfortable playing pretty much anywhere on the pitch.
He is one that every single Hammers fan should be watching very closely indeed this season.
