While Bayern Munich’s 1-1 match against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday did not go down as a loss, it felt like it to some folks as soon as Harry Kane left the match with an injury. While Bayern Munich might not be expecting Kane’s ailment to be serious, the Englishman did not train with the team on Monday (as posted by @iMiaSanMia):
Harry Kane did not train with the team today and remains a doubt for Aston Villa. The final training takes place tomorrow (14:00 CEST) before flying to Birmingham.
Kane’s status will likely be in doubt until the opening whistle. Bayern Munich, like many clubs, is secretive about the injury status of its players. Surely, fans will be hoping to see Kane suited up and ready to go.
