Bayern Munich received some good news on the injury front when right-back Sacha Boey returned to team training. Boey, who was out with a meniscus injury, has progressed enough to get back into the mix, per the release from FCBayern.com:
There was good news from Säbener Straße on Monday as Sacha Boey once again returned to team training. The 24-year-old defender suffered an injury to the meniscus in his left knee in September and has been out of action ever since. A return to team training is now the next step towards Boey’s comeback.
When Boey is ready for game action, it should give Vincent Kompany a real right-back to put into the lineup instead of Konrad Laimer and Raphaël Guerreiro, who have dutifully manned the position since Boey and Josip Stanišić’s injuries.
