Bayern Munich is reportedly keeping a close eye on a possible replacement right winger, Luca Koleosho. The young talent at Burnley FC could be a potential summer signing for Die Rekordmeister.
Currently under contract until 2029, Koleosho made an impression on Vincent Kompany during his tenure at Burnley. According to the report by Florian Plettenburg, Kompany knows the young talent well and speaks highly of his potential. Having played 15 matches under Kompany, Koleosho has shown enough promise to be analyzed and discussed internally at Bayern as a future option for the right wing.
If Koleosho joins Bayern, he’ll find himself in competition with the likes of Michael Olise, Leroy Sané, and Kingsley Coman. Olise has been making waves this season, showcasing his impressive performances, and becoming an immediate asset to the squad. On the other hand, Leroy Sané is (arguably) finding his form again after a challenging period of dips in his performances. With all three players contributing significantly, Bayern’s right-wing position seems secure for now, yet the prospect of adding Koleosho could provide fresh dynamism and depth to the squad.
While it’s still early days in the transfer speculation, the potential addition of Koleosho to a squad already rich in attacking talent is something that could be either very exciting, or highly debated.
