Everton face Manchester United at Old Trafford on December 1
Ruben Amorim is set to be without first-team coach Darren Fletcher for Manchester United’s Premier League fixture against Everton next month after Football Association slapped the Scot with a touchline ban.
Amorim will begin his tenure as United’s head coach on November 11 after overseeing his final match as Sporting CP manager against Braga this weekend
The 39-year-old’s first Premier League match will come against Ipswich Town on November 24, with matches against Bodo/Glimt and Everton to follow.

However, he is set to be without Fletcher for his first two Premier League matches after the former United and Scotland midfield was hit with a £7,500 fine and three-match touchline ban for allegedly using improper conduct towards match officials at half-time of United’s win over Brentford on October 19.
Fletcher was aggrieved that the Bees had taken the lead at Old Trafford after referee Samuel Barrott had forced Matthijs de Ligt off the field to receive treatment for a head injury.
The 40-year-old could then be disputing the decision with the officials as both teams returned to the dressing rooms for half-time just seconds later.
A statement released by the FA on Friday read: “An independent Regulatory Commission has imposed a three-match extended touchline ban and £7,500 fine on Darren Fletcher for misconduct at Manchester United ’s Premier League match against Brentford on Saturday 19 October.
“The FA alleged that the coach acted in an improper and/or confrontational manner and/or that he used abusive and/or insulting words towards the fourth official and the referee and/or assistant referees around the tunnel area at half time.
“Darren Fletcher admitted to this misconduct but denied that he was abusive. However, the Regulatory Commission found this to be proven and imposed his sanctions. The Regulatory Commission’s written reasons for its decisions will be published in due course.”
Everton, meanwhile, face West Ham United and Brentford ahead of next month’s trip to Old Trafford, with the Blues sitting 16th in the table after ten matches of the Premier League season.
