Atalanta midfielder Ederson is a target for Manchester City, according to I News reporter Mark Douglas.
The Brazilian is said to be “under consideration” with the Premier League champions expecting to strengthen their squad during the January transfer window.
While some prefer the club to pursue Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi, many fans on X believe that Ederson would be a very good addition to the team:

Ederson has been targeted by other Premier League clubs
The 25-year-old has been linked with moves to the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle over the past year or so.
However, Atalanta were reluctant to sell Ederson in the summer as they had already sanctioned the sale of another midfielder, Teun Koopmeiners, to Juventus, but things could change in the New Year.
City are badly missing Rodri
The Cityzens have struggled to wrestle control of matches in recent weeks. Despite having taken leads against Sporting Lisbon and Brighton, they collapsed after half-time in both games.
Ederson’s ability to break up play and disrupt opponent’s attacks would make him an excellent replacement for Rodri. The Spaniard’s absence has been keenly felt since he picked up an ACL injury against Arsenal back in September.
