Spurs eye winter move for Tah
Multiple clubs have been looking to take advantage of the situation as they look to land the 28-year-old veteran. The likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be in the race for his signatures alongside Premier League heavyweights Liverpool.
However, while Spurs ponder a free transfer for Tah, ample of clubs in the race for his services may push for a bargain transfer in the winter window where Leverkusen are wiling to part with the German international for a €15 million fee, per Spanish outlet SPORT.
For Tottenham, while they were fortifying interest in a possible free transfer, this is an opportunity to land an experienced defender for a cheap fee and strengthen the depth of their squad ahead of the second half of the season, given the fact that the Lilywhites are in dire need of qualitative depth at the heart of defence.
Ange Postecoglou has been demanding a new centre-back for a while, and despite the Australian head coach having an established defensive duo of Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven, there is no probable backup. Radu Dragusin is the only cover for both, with Ben Davies another deputy.
