Troy Deeney believes Marcus Rashford is setting a bad example for Manchester United’s young players.
The 27-year-old has struggled for consistent form so far this season.
His attitude during matches has also been questioned by fans and pundits as United’s woes continue.
Rashford has not scored in any of his last seven Premier League appearances, prompting fresh speculation he needs a fresh challenge.
Paris Saint-Germain have previously been linked with a move but the winger still has over three years left on his deal at Old Trafford.
Discussing his situation, Deeney told Breakfast: “For a little while now let’s be honest he hasn’t delivered to the standard that we know he can.

“When I see what happened with Garnacho at the weekend, he scores and he’s a bit sulky because a few fans have decided to get on his case or whatever.
“I think that stems from Marcus as well and hear me out on this when Marcus is throwing his arms about and the world owes him a favour.
“What if you’re a young player you’re looking up to him. Why would you not go ‘well I’m gonna act the same way’.”
Alejandro Garnacho refused to celebrate after scoring in Sunday’s 3-0 home win over Leicester.
His goal came just days after he was criticised by a fan outside Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Rashford has just four goals and three assists in 18 matches this term.
He also remains out in the cold with England after once again being snubbed by Lee Carsley this month.
The United academy graduate has not played for the Three Lions since March.
Instead, Rashford is set to train under new manager Ruben Amorim for the first time next week.
The Portuguese will then make his debut in the dugout at Ipswich on November 24.
