Numerous reports suggest Liverpool are ready to test West Ham’s resolve to keep hold of winger Mohammed Kudus.
The Ghanaian is currently serving a ban for violent conduct but has remained in the headlines of the West Ham news, with Arsenal reportedly preparing a transfer bid.
Unsubstantiated third-party quotes suggest the Hammers winger would like a move to North London to play European football, which he cited as his main reason for joining West Ham from Ajax. Now, however, it seems the Gunners could face competition from Liverpool, who are thriving under former Hammers managerial target Arne Slot.
Adding a twist, the Mail Online reported: “West Ham are expected to stand firm on Mohammed Kudus’ £85 million release clause as they brace for offers for their star forward next summer.”
