Tottenham Hotspur have been blessed with an ample number of young players that have the capacity to make it to the very top, and among such starlets is Josh Keeley, who has been taking massive strides in his loan spell with Leyton Orient.
The 2003-born Leyton number 24 has been in phenomenal form lately that has seen him keep the ball out of the net in seven of his previous nine League One outings (i.e., 7 clean sheets). And his performances have attracted interest from Championship clubs of late, with English second-tier side QPR looking to land the 21-year-old for next season.
Reputation attraction senior call up for Keeley?
And John Wenham, owner of the reputed Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, a potential senior call-up for the Tottenham academy graduate, might not be far off given his performances of late. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, he said:
“Keeley is impressing the Republic of Ireland. They’re keeping tabs on him for a possible promotion to the first team at the moment. He is just doing everything right and needs to keep going. Hopefully, he can get himself into the League One Team of the Season, secure a move to the Championship next year, and then return to Tottenham still in his early twenties with 100-plus senior games under his belt.”
There is a cause of concern in the goalkeeping department at the moment as the Lilywhites look to pursue a deal for a new young goalkeeper; however, they have one among the roster who has come through the academy at Hotspur Way and has the potential to go to the very top in Josh Keeley.

With the interest lining up for his signatures, there is a possible prospect of having him returning to the setup at N17 in a few years time with 100+ senior appearances under his belt that would not only be an exciting addition to the depth of the squad but also give then-Spurs manager a solid homegrown option in goal.
