Konrad Laimer had a good time on his brief trip back to his homeland.
The Austria international played a big role in helping Bayern Munich as he played superbly at right-back and assisted on Michael Olise’s second goal.
“It was a good test, we got into our game right away. We played with confidence for 90 minutes and scored the goals – we could have done a few things a bit better. But we did well for the short preparation. We only have this week left to train and we have to make sure we get the content, the physique and the fitness in. We are fully there, fit and ready to go,” said Laimer (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Laimer is making his case to be Bayern Munich’s starting right-back against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday. Would you be good with Laimer taking the starting gig on a permanent basis?
